Collaboration entails frequent and transparent communication across parties throughout the life cycle of development but starts with clearly defined objectives from the onset. Projects with this level of communication can adapt to challenges while maintaining continuous alignment and keeping things on track and on budget.
For example, the Federal Center Park-n-Ride project included a massive public/private partnership team working on a design/build project delivery with multiple governmental and quasi-governmental agencies involved (RTD, GSA, and the City of Lakewood, to name a few)…Without effective client collaboration, with so many teams included, it would have been impossible to accomplish a project of this scale and complexity.

Anything worth doing is worth doing right, and that means a commitment to quality in our services. Quality doesn’t always mean luxury, elaborate, or sophisticated – but it does require expectations to be exceeded.

When working with arguably one of the best organizations in the NFL, second-rate service doesn’t cut it. In the pursuit of creating a training facility where, in the words of the great Vince Lombardi, “Only perfect practice makes perfect,” R&R had to be perfect, too - even when working on the Denver Bronco’s Practice Facility. By providing such attention to detail and white glove service to the operations staff, R&R has been requested back for additional, but confidential, projects.
PROACTIVE SOLUTIONS

But even the best-laid plans have their surprises – and when those arise R&R is ready to face them head on. Risks are mitigated with custom solutions and contingencies, and challenges are met with quick consultation to pivot, adapt, and overcome. Our work with Zocalo on 101 Broadway is a prime project example of a challenging problem turned opportunity.
Zocalo approached our team with a plan to renovate the ground floor of a historic building, including a large patio that violated city code. While a previous engineer deemed the project impossible, R&R collaborated internally, across departments—using historic survey reviews, 3D scanning, civil layout design, and constructability reviews—to create a viable, proactive solution. The team worked diligently to secure a variance, engaging in multiple pre-application meetings and effectively demonstrating how the plan aligned with the City's public right-of-way objectives. Their efforts ultimately earned the City's approval and support.
