R&R provided comprehensive land surveying, entitlements support, and civil engineering services for the 10-acre transfer station, including an office/maintenance building, non-ferrous building, ferrous building, transfer station, outdoor materials staging areas, scales, and shredder equipment. Careful consideration was given to site circulation and setbacks due to the volume of truck traffic and the skinny/long nature of the property (only 160ft wide). Permitting was exhaustive as site location fell on boundaries of multiple municipalities and utility districts, requiring diligent project management to secure various submittal approvals.
