2024 U.S. Green Building Council Colorado Leadership Award for Design & Construction
BASALT, CO
R&R provided civil engineering services for Pitkin County's first distillery on an 8-acre campus with multiple buildings. The civil design includes full campus layout, grading, drainage, and utilities with special considerations for stormwater and snow/ice melt management. The project is pursuing LEED Platinum and Living Building Challenge certifications for green building and operations.
In 2024 the project was celebrated as the World’s First LEED Platinum Distillery and was awarded the U.S. Green Building Council Colorado Leadership Award for Design & Construction.
