Partnering with University of Northern Colorado, R&R provided civil engineering and survey services for the university's athletic field replacement in the summer of 2021. The original field was constructed in 1995 to relieve the aging Jackson Field. Nottingham Field now meets NCAA and the state of Colorado's requirements and will reduce maintenance costs as the turf will not require water or paint. The project required moving the javelin runway away from the new turf to the existing Doubemmier Field nearby. The project was delivered two weeks ahead of schedule, right on time for their home opening game in 2021.
