R&R provided turnkey survey and civil engineering services for this two-story, 30,000 SF cidery including production facility, restaurant, taproom, expansive deck and outdoor seating. Location is paramount for this site, situated on a four acre bluff overlooking the Flatirons mountains to the West, with an additional four acres dedicated for a proposed apple tree orchard. This $7M buildout included a comprehensive Design-Build delivery approach. In addition to standard survey and civil engineering for permitting, unique design considerations were undertaken for the substantial grade changes allowing for a tuck-under delivery/loading area for production. Creative value engineering was necessary for routing storm water drainage to offsite regional detention facilities.
